Our Industrial Engineer develops ways to increase productivity, maximize efficiency and manage human capital more effectively.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Learn and become knowledgeable with all manufacturing departments.
Learn and become knowledgeable of all product assembly line and processes.
Become knowledgeable with the operation of specific equipment.
Maintain Auto cad drawings of floor plans for each manufacturing plant and department.
Able to track product assembly, work flow and be ready to make suggestions for improvements.
Ability to design department or plant layout improvements.
Ability to write a justification for an equipment purchase or a process change.
Ability to design equipment that will assist / improve the manufacturing process.
Request price quotes for machinery, evaluate the quotes and recommend the best option.
Communicate with plant maintenance, managers, supervisors and assembly personnel.
Able to complete work flow studies and line balancing as necessary.
Evaluate equipment to be in compliance with safety codes and standards.
Use electronic forms and tools to communicate ideas and communications.
Use organizational skills to develop personal work habits and move projects to successful completion.
Advance degree beyond a high school diploma.
Previous and/or similar experience as an Industrial or Manufacturing Engineer.
Proficient with Auto CAD.
Excellent organizational, oral and written communication skills.
Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft windows and window based programs.
Valid driver’s license for travel between other company locations.

OTR Truck Driver
Lincoln Wood’s OTR truck drivers haul and deliver our windows and doors to customers in newer equipment. Our drivers are home weekly. There are no back hauls scheduled unless we need product picked up for us.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Operate commercial motor vehicle to transport freight in inter and intra state commerce.
Inspect vehicle and required parts and accessories to determine safe operating condition prior to departure.
Operate vehicle in compliance with company rules and all applicable state and federal regulations.
Load and unload cargo as required.
Maintain for compliance with state and federal regulations including driver’s logs, records of fuel purchases, mileage records, etc.
Follow established safety practices and guidelines.
Report all accidents, incidents of equipment damage involving driver or company to Supervisor.
Keep truck and associated equipment clean and in good working order.
Performs other duties and assignments as directed.
Must be 21 years of age
Possess a class A CDL
Possess or obtain medical certificate
Must have verifiable driving experience of at least 1 year
Must have a nationwide cellular telephone
Pay for drops, pick-ups and jobsite deliveries
