Warranty Service Manager

Manages the service department and personnel ensuring the highest level of service possible including installation, maintenance and repairs of our windows and patio doors.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages the service staff; determines staffing requirements, evaluates performance, and trains and develops staff members.
  • Answers phone calls related to warranty issues, repairs and products.
  • Learn and become knowledgeable with all manufacturing processes.
  • Learn and become knowledgeable with Lite Builder.
  • Develops programs and procedures to improve service and reduce cost.
  • Works with legal representative on product litigation.
  • Monitors and resolves complaints with Better Business Bureau, state government and private party litigation.
  • Manage invoicing – labor invoicing of subcontractors.
  • Oversee customer requests for service.
  • Works with Quality and Product Development Manager’s to provide feedback from the field on product quality and design.
  • Train service personnel.
  • Facilitate settlements with distributors and home owners.
  • Oversee service manual.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills with internal and external customers.
  • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Windows based programs.
  • Knowledge of engineering drawings.
  • Knowledge of AAMA windows and testing preferred.
  • Occasional travel required.
  • Ability to take initiative.
  • Ability to make decisions.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or GED required. Advance degree beyond a high school diploma preferred.
  • Five (5) years or more experience in sales or service. Experience with window knowledge preferred.
  • Previous supervisory training and/or experience preferred.
  • Certified or ability to obtain Installation Masters

Production Worker

We are currently seeking an individuals to work in our manufacturing facility to assemble and manufacture windows and doors.

Duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Assigned work in the plant to support the manufacturing department’s needs.
  • Perform a variety of tasks not necessarily just one job task.
  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 50lbs.
  • Follows established safety practices and guidelines.
  • Reports problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to Supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

Pay

  • Starting pay $14.15/hour

Hours of Operation

  • Monday – Friday, Saturday and Sunday as needed
  • Work Hours: 6:00am to 2:30pm (if overtime required, hours occur after 2:30pm)

Quality Assurance Technician

Support and maintain a Quality Management System program using data-driven quality assurance strategy that continuously improves product performance, product form, fit and function, work procedures and processes, work flow and manufacturing practices that will continually and efficiently sustain the company’s quality program compliance and customer expectations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Learn all parts, products, processes and provide Technical Support and problem solving assistance to all departments.
  • Conduct required inspections to support procedures, records and reports needed to maintain a Quality Control Manual and program to be in compliance with our Quality Management System procedural guide.
  • Measure, test and control relevant incoming material and components, in-process assembly and final product assembly.
  • Inspect incoming materials or First Articles and record variances.
  • Calibrate and maintain all gauges and test machines.
  • Perform in-house product performance/cycle testing to ensure quality and adherence to regulations and standards.
  • Conduct Statistical Process Controls (SPC), Cause and Affect Diagrams and Root Cause Analysis and Risk Assessment.
  • Support plant quality engineers and managers with customer and supplier issues.
  • Perform all job functions in a manner which promotes individual and group safety while maintaining high quality standards.
  • If trained, support the overall effort by filling in for other positions when directed by the Quality Assurance Manager. (Supervisor, etc.)

Qualifications

  • Attention to detail is necessary to keep accurate inspection records and provide rejection documentation support of non-conforming parts.
  • Ability to read engineering blueprints.
  • Effective written and verbal communication with internal and external customers.
  • Knowledge of measuring equipment (calipers, height gage, rulers, tape measure, etc.)
  • Proficient computer skills and knowledge especially Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Good Problem solving skills.

Education and/or Experience

  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous or similar experience desired as a Quality Assurance Technician.
  • Obtain and/or possess a Six Sigma certification.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Production/Backup Driver

We are currently seeking an individual to work in our manufacturing facility as a backup driver.

The individual’s role as a Back–Up Driver consists of the following:

  • Assigned work in the plant, in various assigned departments, to support the manufacturing department’s needs.
  • Supports the Interplant Truck Driver for inter-company transfers.
  • Occasional overnight road trips of inter-state and intra-state commerce to deliver products to our dealers or pick-up materials for our use.
  • Follows established safety practices and guidelines.
  • Reports problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to Supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Possess a valid driver’s license with a Class A CDL
